The “Walk and Talk”
Some people find it easier to process when their body is in motion. A walking session might be a good option if this sounds like you.
As well as being surrounded by nature, walking outdoors gives us the opportunity to directly incorporate nature as a source of learning for what it is that you are exploring at the moment.
After meeting for our first session, we can discuss if this option is suitable for you. I offer this for individual clients.
I have several locations where we can go for therapeutic nature walks/outdoor walking counselling sessions.
Confidentiality is always of utmost importance. In an outdoor setting, there are variables that I cannot control. It is imperative you understand the limits to confidentiality when we are outdoors. I will make every effort to create a situation where you are comfortable and secure.
Sitting in Nature
Just as walking in the outdoors is an option for counselling within a nature setting, so is finding an spot out in nature to sit for our counselling session.
After meeting for our first session, we can discuss if this option is suitable for you. I offer this option to individuals, couples, families, or other relationship configurations.
There are many options for where we can sit and have a counselling session.
